Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the answers to some of the questions we often get asked.

Karen Barnett as Karen Carpenter

Where Do You Play?

We perform all over the UK and beyond. We’ve played in Theatres, Holiday Parks, Festivals, Hotels, Clubs etc.

Can I book you for a private event?

Of course! We are available for any private or corporate event.

How long do you play and sing for?

A typical performance would be either:

1 x 60 minute set or 2 x 45 minute sets

But we are very flexible and are always happy to discuss how the timings of the show will suit you best!

Are you able to supply additional live music?

Yes we are. In addition to being a Carpenters tribute act, we are also all round performers in our own right. As such, under certain circumstances, we can provide additional live music of a more general type for your dancing and listening pleasure.

Do you supply all the required equipment?

Yes! We are fully self-contained and can provide all the equipment we need for a stunning performance. This includes a theatre quality sound system supplied to us by HK Audio Systems. We can also supply a portable baby grand piano, which is a great visual effect, along with everything else we need. All our gear can be set up and sound tested in about 90 minutes.

Are you insured?

Yes, we carry Public Liability Insurance and all our equipment is PAT tested.

Do you have any requirements?

We need access to a mains power supply, a single power socket somewhere near the performance area is all we need. We'd also need a room where we can get changed and leave our cases etc. If you would like us to perform outside we would need to be on a hard standing (not the grass) and a suitable cover should be provided. That's about it really, although, if we've had a long journey, a cup of tea would be nice!

How do I book 'PORTRAIT – A Tribute to The Carpenters'

Bookings and enquires can be made simply by phoning or sending us an email. We’ll offer you a quote and, if it's acceptable, send you an agreement and that's it done! We don’t usually ask for a deposit although sometimes, if there are travel and hotel costs involved we might ask for those in advance.
